How can I measure the capacitance (NOT capacity) of a battery?
I need to compare the performance of a battery to that of a supercapacitor. I can easily measure the charge storage capacity of the battery and capacitor but I would also like to get an idea of the capacitance (equivalent internal capacitance) of the battery. Can anyone suggest a method to measure this.
Capacitance depends on the area of the plates, separation distance and the permittivity of the medium between them. So if you tear apart a car battery I would measure these things, since they are different on all cars.
